Canadians select songs for Obama

For US president Barack Obama, Canadians are being asked to select 49 songs to define their country. The Canadian Broad Casting (CBC) issued the challenge saying that Mr. Obama’s playlist could benefit our country. The final announcement will be on the inauguration of presidential function. It describes Canada’s musical offering as spanning a wide variety of genres. And also representing our culture from east to coast.

The CBC Radio Executive said “One of the best ways to know Canada is through the depth and breadth of our artistic expression”. They are also excited about their new president and want him to excited about Canadians. They also ask the people to help to compile the list of their most definitive Canadian songs. Voting will began on 5th January, and winning list will be played by the radio on the day Obama is sworn in as 44th US president.
