“Mozart of Madras”, A.R.Rahman wins two Oscars for the film called Slumdog Millionare. He nominated for Oscar under three categories out of which he awarded two Oscars for best Music Score and best original song called “Jai Ho”. Resul Pookutty also awarded the Oscar under the category for best sound mixing. “Smile Pinky” a documentary film which is about a cleft-lip girl also awarded Oscar for best documentary film.
After receiving the Oscars, Rahman said in the stage “Ella Pughazum Iraivanukea” that makes every Indians to be proud. Whole India has celebrated the memorable occasion.Rahman family celebrated by cutting the cake and distribute to their family and friends.Indian Prime Minister Manmohan singh said that, they make Indians to be proud. Jai Ho Rahman for this ever green achievement.
